CATERED FINANCIALS
Financial advice is
everywhere. Clarity is rare.
After running a food truck and catering business for over 10 years, I saw firsthand what happens when people don't have clarity around money.

Less Wall Street. More Main Street.
Most of us were never taught how to manage money in a way that applies to real life. Between missing knowledge, conflicting advice, and information overload, it's easy to feel stuck or unsure of what to do next.
That's why I started Catered Financials.
To help people cut through the noise, gain clarity, and build practical systems that support their life today and in the future.
Catered Financials is for everyday, hard-working people who want a more stable financial future.
No finance jargon. No Wall Street vibes.
Just practical, unbiased guidance from someone who understands financial decisions and can help make them easier.

I don't believe managing your money should feel like a second full-time job.

The goal isn't to spend all day tracking spreadsheets, reading news, or obsessing over every decision.
It's to create a clear plan, make informed choices, and trust that your money is supporting the life you actually want to live.

Whether that's growing a business, spending time with family, hiking a mountain, or sharing a great meal, your finances should support your life...not control it.
If that sounds like the kind of approach
you've been looking for, you're in the right place.
Money should be empowering, not overwhelming
After working together, you'll understand where your money is today, what it needs to do next, and how to align it with the future you're working toward.
You'll leave with clarity on:
-
What your money is doing each month
-
How to set-up and structure accounts (checking, HYSA, retirement)
-
How to think short-term AND long-term without conflict
-
How to prioritize debt vs savings
-
What to do next without guessing

1. Understand your full financial picture
Get clear on your income, expenses, debt, and spending patterns so you can actually see what's happening.
No judgment. Just clarity.

2. Build your financial structure
Organize priorities and systematize your money so every
dollar has a purpose.

3. Turn it into a repeatable system
Automate as much as possible so you’re not starting over every month.

HOW IT WORKS
You don't need to keep figuring it out alone.
You just need a system that actually works for your life.

My Bio:
Hi, I'm Marla.

Before becoming a financial coach, I spent 15 years in the culinary world and built my own food truck and catering business from the ground up.

What nobody prepared me for was how financially overwhelming it would often feel. I was managing cash flow, planning for taxes, trying to save for the future, and making financial decisions I had never been taught to make.

I eventually realized that being good at what you do and understanding how money works are two completely different skill sets. Like many people, I assumed hard work and passion would naturally lead to financial security.

It didn't.
What made the difference wasn't working harder. It was gaining the knowledge, structure, and clarity needed to make informed financial decisions.

Once I understood how all the pieces fit together, money became less stressful, decisions became more intentional, and I finally had a clear direction for both my business and personal finances.

That experience shaped the foundation of Catered Financials.

Today, I help people turn financial information into clear decisions and action, so they can move forward with clarity, confidence, and direction.
