Catered Financials Community First Project is a community supported initiative to bring financial literacy and support to those who need it most. Too often, individuals, families, and small business owners lack the access and resources to gain practical financial skills. This gap creates cycles of debt, stress, and missed opportunities that ripple beyond households and into the broader community. Here in Essex and Clinton County, NY we see it first hand. In Clinton County, nearly 1 in 7 residents live in poverty (a rate higher than the national average) and in Essex County, more than 1 in 10 residents face the same struggle. Nearly half of all students are classified as economically disadvantaged. These numbers aren’t just statistics. They represent friends and families in our community who are working hard but still falling behind.

The good news is these outcomes are not inevitable. When people are given the right tools and guidance, they gain the understanding and confidence to take control of their money and build lasting stability. Even a modest budget, when managed well, can support meaningful goals. My mission is to share that understanding with everyone and reduce the anxiety and scarcity that so often come along with financial struggle.

Community First Sponsorship Levels

When you sponsor Community First, you’re not just supporting a business—

Through sponsorships, you’ll help fund:

Community workshops and classes that equip youth and families with money skills for life.
Scholarships and resources that remove barriers to financial learning.

💛 Supporter: $25–$100

Helps cover the cost of workshop supplies or digital learning tools.
Each $55 sponsorship covers a free 2 hour workshop/class for one individual

🌿 Friend of the Project: $150–$500

Provides access for multiple individuals or families to attend financial literacy workshops either at no cost or a discounted price.
Every $110 covers the cost of 1 hourly session for an individual, couple, or family

🌱 Community Sponsor: $550+

Fully funds a private financial workshop for up to15 people
Or covers the full cost of at least five 1:1 hourly sessions

Supports long-term initiatives like scholarships, school partnerships, and ongoing programming. These may include:

- Over 40 one-on-one free hourly sessions
- Partial or full expense for up to 3 individuals, couples, or families to take part in the Catered Financials Strategy Program
- Fund 2-3 independent, local business owners to take part in the Catered Financials Strategy Program
